The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Finance team you lead the payroll management process overseeing compliance and accuracy in payroll cycles. As a Manager you are accountable for guiding the team in delivering quality payroll services while mentoring junior staff and managing client accounts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll management processes and systems
- Uphold compliance with fnancial regulations and standards
- Mentor team members to improve their capabilities
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR to address employee inquiries
- Promote standard practices in payroll processing
- Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively
- Build sturdy relationships with internal stakeholders
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 10 years of experience in Payroll Management
- Oral and written profciency in English required
What Sets You Apart
-- Masters Degree
- Knowledge in payroll cycle review and compliance
-- Verifcation/payment of Statutory Payments (i.e. TDS Professional Tax Provident Fund Labour Welfare Fund)
- Managing payroll accounting and reconciliation processes
-- Managing Investment proof submission and Annual Payroll closure activities Issuance of Form 16 (Present/Exit Employees).
- Coordinating with banks for salary remittances
