Luxury Safari Camp Buyskloof Eastern Cape

Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in

Work Cycle: 21 Days On / 7 Days Off

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to join a luxury safari camp located in Buyskloof Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will be organised guest-focused and confident in supporting the management team to ensure seamless lodge operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge operations to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery

Manage motivate and support lodge staff maintaining a professional and positive working environment

Conduct weekly staff meetings and promote a team-focused culture

Deliver exceptional guest service addressing guest needs promptly and personally

Oversee procurement and stock control including ordering inventory management and supplier relations

Coordinate housekeeping F&B guiding and other operational departments to uphold high standards of excellence

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols in line with legal and company requirements

Support budget management financial reporting and cost-control processes

Handle guest feedback professionally resolving issues swiftly to maintain guest satisfaction

Assist with staff training and development initiatives to promote operational efficiency

Work closely with senior management to implement new initiatives and enhance the overall guest experience

Qualifications:

Proven experience in luxury hospitality management ideally within a safari lodge or remote high-end environment

Strong leadership and staff management abilities

Excellent guest service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences

Experience in procurement inventory control and supplier management

Financial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control

Strong communication organisational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic lodge setting

Hospitality management certification or similar qualification is advantageous

Salary:

Based on industry standards and aligned with the candidates experience and qualifications
