Responsibilities:
- Drive the collaborative development and execution of strategic business plans for specific practice groups and client teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative BD infrastructure including systems for deal reporting credentials management and content distribution.
- Conceptualize and manage end-to-end BD initiatives campaigns and projects focusing on developing new service offerings and key messaging.
- Advise partners on profiling strategies including media engagement directory submissions and strategic conference participation to enhance external visibility.
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to secure greater work from the existing client base while actively pursuing new market opportunities.
- Coach partners and fee-earners on pitch strategy preparation messaging and follow-up for strategically vital client engagements.
- Champion client relationship management programs ensuring best practices are embedded at the practice group level to drive client loyalty and cross-selling.
- Build trusted advisor relationships across all levels of the firm and manage external strategic partnerships.
- Provide direct line management mentorship and performance oversight for direct reports within the BD team.
