Our client a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Durban is looking to fill the position of Branch Manager.
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Coastal Sales Manager the successful applicant with be accountable for achieving branch objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of Branch strategy to achieve ROAM.
- Set and ensure the adherence to regional budgets sales forecasts and fixed costs.
- Monitor and evaluate targets and initiate corrective action plans where necessary.
- Monitor and control of working capital.
- Create and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Generate and follow-up on sales leads.
- Maintain high profile in industry related organisations.
- Provide customer support where necessary.
- Plan and ensure cost efficient resourcing for the branch.
- Lead and motivate the branch team for maximum performance.
- Prepare and deliver effective motivational team meetings.
- Manage employee development through training and performance management.
- Ensure branch adherence to ISO9001 policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant Business Diploma/Degree
- 5 - 7 years experience
