Skematic a business unit of Financial Recovery Technologies is a rapidly growing startup providing a comprehensive Compliance workflow management solution in the RegTech space. Primarily serving hedge funds private equity and venture capital firms since 2021 Skematic is breaking barriers to offer a solution to drive efficiencies for compliance teams navigating the ever-changing complexities of regulation in capital markets. We are seeking a Business Development Representative in the UK to drive Skematics regional sales efforts and grow our market share in EMEA in the compliance space.

Specifically as a Business Development Representative - UK at Skematic you will:

  • Drive revenue growth by generating leads and securing meetings so our sales execs can focus on closing deals
    • Make high volume of cold calls each day to prospects.
    • Grow Skematics market share by seeking out opportunities and converting prospects into qualified leads.
    • Set appointments for AEs & CRO and track metrics and performance against set targets.
  • Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of all communications with prospects.
  • Maintain a high level of competence using sales sequencing and CRM tools.

Successful hire will have a clear career trajectory to a Sales Executive position with the company. To get there a candidate should possess:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume outbound sales role (preferred);
  • Experience working in Financial Services RegTech Compliance or Fintech and selling to those clientele (preferred);
  • A desire to make money for Skematic and themselves;
  • A track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Self-starter mentality with an ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The utmost professionalism conducting yourself with a positive demeanor.
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better.
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented work ethic with strong analytical problem solving and creative thinking skills. and

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN GREATER LONDON.

Salary: base salary is experience dependent and can range from 48000 - 58000 a year commission.
