Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Stores Clerk to join their team.
Salary and Benefits:
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect record and store incoming materials spare parts and consumables.
- Issue stock to technicians and departments ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the computerised inventory system (e.g. Pastel SAP Excel).
- Conduct regular stock counts reconciliations and variance reporting.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor of low or fast-moving items.
- Ensure proper labelling arrangement and housekeeping of the stores area.
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and coordinating deliveries.
Key Skills:
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in the motor/construction industry industry or a related field.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and inventory management systems).
- Proven experience with inventory management processes.
