Position Title: Relationship Officer
Location: Kampala
Reports to: Head of Sales
Summary
The Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and growing client relationships understanding customer needs and promoting the companys products or services. The role supports the sales department in driving revenue maintaining strong customer satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Build strengthen and manage relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct client visits follow-ups and regular check-ins to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.
Promote and present company products/services to clients offering solutions based on their requirements.
Support the Head of Sales in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
Handle customer inquiries complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing client engagements leads sales activities and challenges.
Maintain accurate client information and documentation in the companys CRM or reporting system.
Coordinate with sales operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Participate in marketing campaigns product activations and sales events within Kampala.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Business Administration Marketing Sales Customer Service or a related field.
Experience in B2B sales customer service or relationship management (industry-specific experience is an added advantage).
Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet set targets.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
