Job Summary

Planning

  • Establish the Sales Strategy and Plan for the assigned area in collaboration with the Sales Team and Sales Director.
  • Prepare the service plan for the assigned area in accordance with the Sales Team and Sales Director.
  • Identify key targets in the Area and establish a specific follow-up plan.

Effective Management

  • Assign and manage all resources in the assigned Area to ensure achievement of sales and profitability objectives in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that each team member effectively divides their time between account management and sales activities.
  • Supervise inquiries related to Product Applications in the area and channel them through the most appropriate team members to resolve them in accordance with the Sales Director.
  • Establish and lead specific work plans for key accounts.
  • Provide direct support in quotation request processes.
  • Know and effectively apply the companys approach and sales techniques and tools. Certify that required service standards are maintained for each customer and periodically conduct review meetings for specified clients.

Monitoring Control and Reporting

  • Monitor the performance of each Account Manager against established objectives and review them with each team member and the Sales Director quarterly.
  • Report monthly to the Sales Director on activity status ensuring that information required for business management (contract consumption status of New & Lost Applications etc.) is delivered within required timeframes.
  • Supervise that the quality of documentation prepared for customer delivery (Quotes Technical Reports Service Reports) meets company standards. Take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for Area development and market plan preparation.
  • Supply information about the market and competitor activity to the Sales Director and Product Applications Department as required.
  • Report globally on Area evolution in quarterly meetings with the Sales Director.

Personnel Development

  • Participate in formal performance and development reviews with sales team members semi-annually.
  • Provide effective coaching and supervision to Area members.
  • Deliver effective training to team members.
  • Identify and suggest training needs for personnel assigned to the Area.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or Engineering with application in the water treatment industry
  • Experience in the water treatment industry (minimum 7 years)
  • Commercial experience (minimum 5 years) highly valuable in a multinational company environment
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish
