In connected supply chain at PwC you will focus on optimising supply chain operations and improving end-to-end visibility and collaboration. You will work closely with clients to analyse supply chain processes identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency reduce costs and increase responsiveness. Working in this area you will provide guidance on technology and data analytics to create a connected and agile supply chain network.

Job Summary:

PwCs Operations and Supply Chain Solutions (OSCS) Physical Product Development & Manufacturing (PPDM)partners with global clients to transform how products are designed engineered manufactured and serviced. As a Manager within the Manufacturing Excellence capability you will lead engagement teams and deliver strategic and operational transformation programs across industries.
You will collaborate with senior client stakeholders to shape solutions drive execution and ensure measurable business impact acrossManufacturing Excellence Product Development Excellence Digital Manufacturing Digital Engineering and ConnectedPhysicalProducts &IoT.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge Preferred:

  • Manufacturing Strategy &Operations:Expertiseinend-to-endmanufacturingprocessandshopfloor operations with the ability to diagnose operational challenges and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance throughput productivityplant network efficiencyandcost-to-serve.

  • Operations Excellence:Proven experienceinleading Lean Six Sigma TPM or Kaizen initiatives with the ability to design operational improvement roadmaps and drive multi-site implementation.

  • Maintenance & Reliability:Knowledge ofpreventive/predictive maintenance asset reliability programs and uptime optimization strategies.

  • Manufacturing Quality:Exposure to manufacturing quality systems root cause analysis (RCA) CAPA implementation and cost ofpoor quality(COPQ) tracking.

  • Contract Manufacturing Strategy:Experience supportingmake-vs-buy decisionsmanaging external manufacturing partners andevaluating outsourcing opportunities.

  • M&A Integration & Separation:Ability to lead manufacturing-focused due diligencesynergyassessment and post-merger integrationinitiatives.

  • NetworkOptimization:Experience in footprint rationalizationmulti-site manufacturing optimization or supply chain network redesign projects.Experience with network design tools such asRiverlogicLamasoftwould be preferred

  • Project Management:Demonstratedability to scope plan and lead complex multi-workstream transformation initiatives with strong stakeholder management.

Skills Preferred:

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.

  • Analytical skills to interpret operational data and convert it into businessinsights.

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills for CXO / VP-level interactions

  • Ability to lead and mentor teams providing guidance feedback and skill development.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality work and managing cross-functional project teams.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients internal teams and leadership.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Operations or related fields from Tier-1 institutes.

  • MBA in Operations (Preferred)

Past Experience:

  • 812 years of relevant experience in manufacturing strategy operational excellence digital manufacturing or related consulting/industry roles.

  • Prior experience managing teams owning client relationships and delivering large-scale transformationprojects.
