A Senior/ Sales Manager - Leisure serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in hotel sales with strong exposure to OTA leisure or group leisure segments.
  • Proven success in managing OTA portals travel trade partners and group travel business.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with PMS CRS channel managers and digital distribution tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple segments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially minded with a deep understanding of digital and leisure distribution.
  • Strong relationship builder and collaborator across both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive structured and solutions-oriented.
  • Adept at spotting new revenue opportunities across diverse leisure segments.

Position Statement
The Sales Manager - Leisure is responsible for driving revenue performance across all leisure segments with a strong focus on OTA production general leisure travel accounts group leisure business and cruise-related partnerships. This role requires a commercially driven sales professional who can balance digital distribution strategy with proactive account management and market development.

What will you be doing
As the Senior/ Sales Manager - Leisure you will be responsible to lead the function with integrity and credibility for the following areas:

OTA Performance & Optimization

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive OTA strategy to maximize visibility conversion and revenue.
  • Manage key OTA partnerships ( Expedia Agoda etc.) and lead quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Ensure rate parity content quality and inventory accuracy across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management on dynamic pricing promotions and tactical campaigns to capture leisure demand.
  • Analyse booking patterns KPIs and demand trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Drive merchandising seasonal campaigns and market-specific offers to improve channel share.

General Leisure Accounts (FIT & Wholesale)

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of travel agencies tour operators wholesalers and FIT partners.
  • Build annual account plans to drive production and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular sales calls training sessions and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Identify new partners markets and distribution opportunities to expand reach.

Group Leisure Business

  • Proactively target and secure group leisure business including tour groups MICE-related leisure extensions sports groups affinity groups and special interest travel.
  • Respond to group enquiries prepare proposals lead negotiations and close business.
  • Work closely with Events and Revenue teams to ensure accurate inventory pricing and space allocations.
  • Maintain relationships with key leisure group agencies.
  • Monitor conversion rates and develop strategies to improve win ratios for group leisure segments.

Cruise Business Development

  • Drive production from cruise-related accounts including cruise lines ground handlers pre-/post-cruise operators and global cruise wholesalers.
  • Develop strong relationships with cruise operations teams to position the hotel as a preferred pre/post-cruise partner.
  • Understand cruise schedules deployment changes and seasonal patterns to forecast demand.
  • Create cruise-specific packages marketing collaborations and tactical offers.
  • As required attend cruise trade events and trade missions to expand the hotels footprint in the cruise segment.

Revenue Delivery & Reporting

  • Deliver revenue targets across OTA FIT wholesale group leisure and cruise business segments.
  • Monitor performance produce monthly reports and provide insights to the commercial leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Marketing and Operations to ensure a unified commercial approach.

Market Insights & Competitor Benchmarking

  • Stay ahead of trends in OTA distribution global leisure travel cruise markets and group travel patterns.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain market share.
  • Recommend new packages promotions and commercial opportunities based on data insights.

Collaboration & Internal Engagement

  • Partner with Marketing to enhance visibility and storytelling across leisure channels.
  • Work closely with Front Office Reservations and Operations to ensure seamless execution for leisure guests and groups.
  • Provide training and updates to internal teams on segment needs booking trends and account expectations.
