Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Anesthesiologist - Cardiac
Join a dynamic team in the heart of Galloway New Jersey! This opportunity invites you to serve at a hospital-based facility that plays a vital role in the community offering a range of health services. The practice is currently seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to join their dedicated team while they search for a permanent provider. The facility features a Level II Trauma Designation and utilizes the Cerner documentation system for efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases (adult).
- Provide IV regional and plexus anesthesia.
- Conduct open-heart and thoracic anesthesia.
- Manage complex vascular cases (excluding open heart).
- Perform spinal and regional anesthesia.
- Conduct local infiltration and ventilation management.
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Insertion of TEE PA Catheter arterial line and central line as required.
- Collaborate during shifts that may include weekdays night calls and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Required).
- Active New Jersey Medical License (Required).
- ACLS and BLS Certifications (Required).
- Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (Preferred).
- Proficiency with open-heart thoracic (non-open heart) and complex vascular cases (Required).
- Experience with TEE PA Catheter arterial line and central line insertion (Required).
- Experience supervising CRNAs (Required).
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR (Preferred).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active New Jersey Medical License.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
