Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology (Cardiac)
Join our dynamic healthcare team in Galloway New Jersey! Our facility is a hospital-based practice providing comprehensive care to patients and addressing a growing need for cardiac anesthesiology services. We are looking for a dedicated Locum Anesthesiologist to support our team from January 2026 onwards while we seek a permanent provider. Take advantage of this opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology including the Cerner EMR system within a supportive environment that prioritizes quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct general surgical cases for adults including IV regional anesthesia and plexus anesthesia.
- Administer anesthesia for open heart thoracic and complex vascular cases excluding open heart procedures.
- Perform spinal anesthesia regional anesthesia local infiltration and ventilation management.
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Insert and manage TEE PA catheters arterial lines and central lines.
- Participate in the call schedule as needed including weekday night and weekend coverage.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology REQUIRED
- Active New Jersey Medical License REQUIRED
- ACLS and BLS Certifications REQUIRED
- Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia PREFERRED
- Proficiency in handling open heart thoracic and complex vascular cases REQUIRED
- Experience in TEE PA catheter arterial line and central line insertion REQUIRED
- Experience supervising CRNAs REQUIRED
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR PREFERRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Active New Jersey Medical License
