Physics Academic Mentor - What the Role Involves

Delivering subject-specific support in Physics across Secondary and Sixth Form pupils
Running small group or 1:1 interventions to raise attainment and build confidence
Supporting targeted interventions progress tracking and exam preparation
Assisting classroom teachers with planning and delivery of lessons
Interviews to begin w/c 25th August 2025

Physics Academic Mentor - What the School is Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Physics or a closely related subject from a top 30 UK university. Previous experience working with young people in a child-centred capacity is highly valued. Schools are looking for proactive compassionate and committed individuals with excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

Physics Academic Mentor - Salary and Contract Info

450530 per week pro rata to term time only
Contract: Full-time long-term (SeptemberJuly) term-time only
Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
