A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work across mainstream schools and specialist SEMH provisions in Brentford. These roles support pupils who display challenging behaviour emotional dysregulation anxiety and social communication difficulties often linked to trauma or unmet SEN.
As a Behaviour Mentor in Brentford you will support pupils who require consistent adult guidance emotional reassurance and clear boundaries to succeed in school. Pupils may struggle with impulsivity anger low self-esteem or disengagement from learning.
You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies support reintegration into lessons and help pupils develop emotional regulation skills.
Deliver targeted behaviour support in line with individual plans
Support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour
Use calm de-escalation and restorative strategies
Reinforce school expectations and routines
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
Build strong positive relationships with pupils
Maintain accurate behaviour and safeguarding records
Liaise with teachers SENCOs and pastoral staff
