Partner with the best

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Positions requiring thorough understanding application and mastery of approaches theories methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
  • Leading negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.
  • Managing claims; including commercial sourcing management such as data analysis negotiations support etc. and may also include purchasing activities.
  • Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches processes and procedures in the own field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
  • Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects; goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing).
  • Possess a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Commodity Management.
  • Haves Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
