Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical/dental practitioners for the above position (s) in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. The position will be primarily located at Nepean Hospital within the Department of Neurology.
The Department of Neurology at Nepean hospital provide primary and secondary health care for people living in the Blue Mountains Hawkesbury Lithgow and Penrith local government areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region with an estimated population close to 400000. The services also include on call neurology service to Blue Mountain Hawkesbury and Lithgow district hospitals.
Successful applicant will be required to provide inpatient and outpatient care for neurology patients in NBLHD completed training at a fellowship level in movement disorders with experience practicing in the subspecialty. Successful applicant is expected support and oversee the movement disorder service of the at Nepean Hospital.
The 0.3FTE appointment would be from 27 April 2026 to 3 July 2026 with 0.5 FTE to commence from 4 July 2026. Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Health Services Act 1997 and Staff Specialists Awards.
