PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 42000 - 47500 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Reward HR Specialist is a supporting role working within the Reward centre of expertise and the broader BBC HR team including other centres of expertise in-house shared service centre and divisional HR Business Partner teams. The successful candidate will support the teams activities and take a lead in particular reward activities including job evaluation pay benchmarking data analysis and our governance processes.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Support the Reward Operations team and divisional teams on operational Reward matters providing reward guidance and insight to support effective strategic and operational decision making.
- Provide support on significant pieces of project activity for example annual pay review pay governance job evaluations and job pay ranges etc.
- Proactively engage with wider BBC People projects seeking responsibility and demonstrating passion to drive key projects and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external counterparts communities of practice and stakeholders to scan for emerging trends legislation and current best practice.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Proven analytical and data management skills in reward compensation or HR analytics
- Knowledge of UK reward practises
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of communicating Reward data and policies clearly and easy to understand for non-Reward audiences
- Ability to provide Reward support for the delivery of complex projects across the organisation
