Senior Medical Officer vacancies will arise in
Department of Public Health Dublin and Midlands The successful candidate may be based in Area Office Arden Road Tullamore Co Offaly Dr Steevens Hospital Dublin 8 or Stewarts Hospital Palmerstown Dublin 20

A panel will be created as a result of this campaign for Public Health Dublin and Midlands from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post
The Senior Medical Officer will assist the Consultant in Public Health Medicine and the health protection team in the prevention investigation surveillance and control of infectious disease as per the Infectious Disease Regulations 1981 as amended and undertake other duties as designated by the Director of Public Health or as appropriate to the office.
