Salary: 98503.00 to 115784.00 per annum
We are currently seeking three experienced Senior Grade Psychologists to join a well-established healthcare service supporting adults with intellectual disabilities across North Kildare and West Dublin. Role Overview:
As a Senior Grade Psychologist you will provide psychological services to adults with intellectual disabilities supporting service users families and frontline staff. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a system that prioritizes compassion and person-centred care.
Key Requirements:
- Honours degree in Psychology (QQI Level 8 or equivalent)
- Postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or validated equivalent from another jurisdiction)
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in professional psychology (including at least 2 years post-qualification)
- Demonstrated competence in working with intellectual disabilities (through supervised placements or post-qualification experience)
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable Experience:
- Working with adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergence
- Supporting individuals with mental health challenges dementia and behaviours of concern
- Positive Behaviour Support assessment and intervention
- Psychometric assessments including dementia
- Designing and monitoring therapeutic interventions
- Consulting with families and professionals
- Interest in research within intellectual disability
