BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION
We lead the banks Global Human Capital Strategy by partnering with the business to proactively drive value by unlocking the potential of our human capital and deploying it to the areas of greatest impact helping our team members to thrive connect develop and prosper. Our team is focused on working with the business to create solutions that make CIBC a great place to work and bank.
JOB OVERVIEW
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position to support the HR record management project and any ad hoc tasks as assigned.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the HR record management process which includes formulating procedural documents and executing all required steps to meet established standards.
- Handle the migration of records from the Share Drive to SharePoint accurately classifying and labeling each record according to the CIBC requirements.
- Ensure all HR records are properly labeled and stored in alignment with the CIBC standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with CIBC global teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless record transfers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to record migration classification or labeling.
- Participate in other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- At least 8 years of HR experience preferably in HR project management.
- Good knowledge of HR concepts regional policies and practices
- Understanding of HR governance/legislation and CIBCs HR policies
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all works.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Developed knowledge in human resources operations including principles practices processes procedures products and services sufficient to resolve problems by analyzing and applying detailed concepts.
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Well-developed interactive and presentation skills sufficient to provide detailed explanation and interpretation of factual and conceptual information and ideas related to complex technical and conceptual issues.
COMPLEXITIES/CHALLENGES
- Operates with independence to identify priorities and address policy and program implementation/ customization requirements to meet client needs.
- Staying current with evolving needs and strategies.
- Ability to work within a matrix environment and provide support to a number of colleagues within a geographic area.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This role operates within a fast paced and deadline drive office environment. Focused concentration and attention to detail is required when analyzing and interpreting workforce data
- This role on occasion requires long and sometimes unpredictable hours of work to meet project commitments
- May be required to provide support for multiple deals/projects at the same time
