Job Summary
AIM is currently looking for a non-ferrous receiver for its AIM Recyclage Victoriaville site. Under the supervision of the site manager the non-ferrous receiver will be responsible for the general upkeep of the premises. They must also contribute to the proper functioning of production particularly by sorting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and by following safety instructions.
What youll be responsible for:
Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals
Classifying non-ferrous materials and determine the type of material
Weighing the material
Operating the forklift
Performing daily maintenance
Carrying out the general upkeep of the premises
Maintaining equipment and assets in good condition
Cleaning the workstation at the end of the shift
Entering data into the RECY system
Providing prices to customers
Providing excellent customer service
Assisting with torch cutting when needed
Preparing shipments and receive materials
Wearing personal protective equipment
Qualifications :
