THE BASICS

Pay: This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $15 - $20 per hour providing an opportunity for qualified candidates to contribute to a team focused on delivering high-quality dental care.

Schedule: The Insurance Coordinator position requires a full-time in-office commitment with working hours scheduled from Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

YOUR DAY AS AN INSURANCE COORDINATOR

In this Insurance Coordinator role you will verify patient coverage and ensure all necessary details are collected before appointments. Your daily activities will include processing claims and following up with providers to facilitate timely reimbursement for services rendered. You will communicate directly with patients regarding their benefits addressing any inquiries they may have to enhance their understanding and overall experience. Additionally you will maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations. Coordination with the dental staff will be essential to provide a seamless practice environment and you will be tasked with resolving any issues related to insurance claims or patient inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN INSURANCE COORDINATOR

2 years of experience with insurance and verification in the medical field
Experience working in a dental office
Strong ability to engage with various personalities
Excellent customer service skills
