Job Summary
Job Description: Core SQL Server Developer
Location: Kochi / Bangalore
Experience: 8-12 years
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Core SQL Server Developer with a strong background in SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and T-SQL development. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in database development and analytics with added proficiency in MS Excel macro coding (VBA) and Gen AI coding assistants such as Cursor AI or GitHub Copilot.
Key Responsibilities
SQL Server Development
- Design develop and maintain SQL Server databases and data models.
- Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers.
- Implement indexing strategies and normalization techniques for performance tuning.
- Conduct regular database health checks and troubleshoot performance issues.
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services)
- Develop and maintain OLAP and Tabular models using SSAS.
- Build multidimensional cubes for advanced analytics and reporting.
- Integrate SSAS cubes with SQL Server and visualization tools like Power BI.
- Optimize cube performance and manage processing schedules.
MS Excel Macro Coding (VBA)
- Create and maintain Excel-based automation tools using VBA.
- Develop dynamic reports and dashboards integrated with SQL Server.
- Build reusable macro templates for business and QA teams.
Gen AI Coding Assistants
Use Gen AI tools (e.g. Cursor AI GitHub Copilot) for code generation debugging and automation.
- Track AI usage metrics and contribute to internal AI productivity initiatives.
- Share best practices and participate in Gen AI benchmarking exercises.
