Our Te Mana Whai Pūkenga (TMWP) team are looking to recruit a Kaiārahi (Navigator) Te Mana Whai Pūkenga!
Our Thames-based Kaiārahi Te Mana Whai Pūkenga work alongside identified priority whānau to develop plans that support them to achieve outcomes that contribute to education employment and overall Hauora and well-being. This role is responsible for providing wrap around/multi-disciplinary support by drawing on a range of approaches to support whānau in achieving these outcomes.
Employment type: Fixed Term (1.0 FTE) until 30 June 2026

As a Te Mana Whai Pūkenga Navigatoryou will have a passion for supporting our communities across the Hauraki rohe to improve health and wellbeing
Essential Competencies include:
- A relevant Whānau Ora tertiary qualification or a willingness to undertake study towards Whānau Ora qualifications.
- Experience in whānau case management involving Manaakitanga Kōtahitanga and Whanaugatanga and employment placement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficiency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.
- Computer literacy.
- A clean full driver licence.
- Strong links (or the ability to build strong links) with Hauraki communities community groups and networks.
We require a confident pro-active individual with strong time management skills great sense of humour and a sparkling personality.
To succeed in this appointmentyou must have a commitment to improving the accessibility of service provision to Hauraki whānau and a clear understanding of Te Taha Māori.
