TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pūkenga - Lecturer in Film to joinTe Kura Kōmanawa -School of Arts and Media on a permanent full-time basis from mid-2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an award-winning Film programme with a focus on critical studies and production.

You will have the expertise and passion to supervise post-graduate research students and join the community of scholars and practitioners in our highly collegial growing and vibrant film programme.
Key requirements:
We are particularly interested in scholars who have experience teaching production courses and/or research specialisation in Māori and/or Pasifika film.
