Job Summary

General Information/Duties:

Plan deliver and assess instruction consistent with district curriculum
Provide a variety of learning methods and resources to engage students in educational activities and lessons
Continuously monitor and evaluate student outcomes through informal and formative assessments
Effectively and consistently communicate and interact with students parents staff and the community
Be a team player; working with other members to improve techniques relations with the community and school environment
Committed to continuous improvement through training and the use of technology.
Participate in district-wide professional development
Perform other duties consistent within the scope of the position

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelors degree
Current & appropriate Michigan certifications
Demonstrated skills in the use of technology
Ability and willingness to work in a team setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the academic social and emotional needs of the high school age student is required.
