Within the context of the Universitys mission CELT provides and delivers accredited English language courses and pathways in a high-quality teaching and learning environment whilst providing an outstanding international student experience. These accredited programs include Language and Communication Essentials English for Academic Purposes and the Universitys direct entry English language pathway the Academic English & Study Skills Bridging Course. CELT also designs and delivers programs customised for the needs of its international partners.

Special Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Relevant experience in ELICOS teaching; and
Degree and Diploma of Education with TESOL major; or Degree and Diploma in TESOL; or
Degree or Diploma (3-year minimum) with TESOL major: or
Degree or Diploma (3 year minimum) and recognized TESOL certificate.
Desirable Qualifications:
Current certification as assessor for the IELTS or
Demonstrated ability in TESOL training; or
Demonstrated experience in TESOL assessment; or Demonstrated ability in a language other than English; or
Qualifications and/or experience in teaching English language at the high school level.
