Main Responsibilities:
- Support global R&D initiatives focused on new curing technology development.
- Work closely with the Global Science team on research testing and data analysis.
- Plan set up and manage field trials across African locations.
- Monitor record and evaluate trial performance to support product improvement.
- Provide technical feedback and recommendations to global engineering and science teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ensure safe and compliant execution of all technical activities.
- Prepare technical reports and progress updates for global teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation projects.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of heat transfer airflow dynamics and gas movement.
- Practical hands-on problem solver comfortable in field testing environments.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Confident working independently and within global multi-disciplinary teams.
- Clear communicator with strong reporting ability.
- High initiative and strong technical curiosity.
- Willing and able to travel for trial setup and monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering preferably mechanical thermal physics-based agricultural or related fields.
- Practical engineering experience in R&D technical environments field testing or product development.
- Experience in curing systems is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience with systems involving airflow heating or energy transfer is beneficial.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand complex systems.
