About the Role:
At One Acre Fund Nigeria we put farmers first. Our mission is to make high-quality agricultural products accessible affordable and reliably available in rural communities. Through our unique pod model we bring farm inputs closer to smallholder farmers enabling them to grow more earn more and build lasting prosperity.
Responsibilities:
Inbound Calls
Receive and manage incoming client calls.
Log all interactions in the CRM system (Zendesk ticketing platform).
Respond to client inquiries and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues claims and requests.
Conduct outbound calls and surveys as assigned by the Customer Engagement Coordinator/Supervisor
Ensure accurate data collection and timely execution of survey assignments.
Prepare and execute SMS blasts in line with communication standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional respectful communication with all clients contacting the hotline.
Clearly communicate updates related to products policies and operational procedures.
Across all roles these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically you will have:
Education: BSc/HND in any relevant field. preferably in Agriculture or related fields
Experience: Prior experience in customer service or customer engagement is a strong plus.
Experience with Zendesk or CRM Systems
Technical Skills:
Sales and negotiation ability
Proficient computer literacy for reporting and tracking

Strong communication and Multitasking Skills

Good team player and Time management
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in email Microsoft Office especially Excel
and/or Google Suite for data analysis
Language Skills
Strong fluency in English is required
Ability to speak the local language peculiar to the location is highly desirable e.g Hausa Yoruba Nupe Obi Alago e.t.c
Location
Availability to live in the community/state where the role is open.
Compensation
In line with the job level.
One Acre Fund provides employees with a percentage of their basic salaries for housing allowance and child support.
Retirement savings: OAF contributes 10% and you contribute 8% of your basic salary to your retirement savings account.
One Acre Fund also provides monthly reimbursements to cover work-related expenses including transportation and airtime.
Relocation support is not available for this position.
Please note: The role is fully onsite and OAF will not provide relocation support.
