Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Officer to manage all human resources functions in a fast-paced healthcare/pharmacy environment. This includes recruitment compliance employee relations performance management HR administration and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment draft job adverts screen candidates conduct interviews and coordinate onboarding.
Compliance & Regulatory Support: Ensure adherence to Nigeria Labour Laws and healthcare regulations; maintain employee licenses and certifications; support audits.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Handle grievances manage disciplinary processes and foster a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisals track KPIs and support managers on career development plans.
Training & Development: Identify training needs maintain compliance and facilitate learning initiatives.
HR Administration: Maintain confidential records manage attendance and leave and generate HR reports.
Compensation & Benefits Support: Assist payroll processing administer benefits and ensure accuracy of statutory contributions.
Workforce Planning: Support manpower planning track vacancies and ensure optimal staffing and shift coverage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Recruitment: Fill-rate 90% within 2-4 weeks; maintain employee turnover <10%.
Compliance: 100% accuracy in employee records; zero violations in audits.
Employee Relations: Resolve grievances within 72 hours; 90% satisfaction in engagement surveys.
Performance Management: 100% completion of appraisals; improvement plans implemented within 30 days.
Training: Mandatory training compliance 85100%; at least 12 training sessions monthly.
HR Administration: 98100% accuracy in attendance and leave records; timely submission of reports.
Payroll: Maintain payroll error rate 1%; 100% on-time payroll submission.
Workforce Planning: Staff shortage rate <5%; zero shift coverage gaps.
Qualifications & Requirements
HND Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
2-4 years HR experience (healthcare/pharmacy preferred).
CIPM SHRM or CIPD certification desirable.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour laws.
Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
