We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated senior Product Owner (formally titled Product Owner) to join our CRM-focused team on a fixed-term basis. This is a strategic opportunity to lead initiatives that prioritise improving the staff and student experience particularly through enhancing CRM capabilities across platforms such as Oracle Service Cloud AWS Connect and Oracle Eloqua. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the product roadmap is executed effectively and remains aligned with business priorities.
This position will be a part of Te Aupikinga the Universitys first Agile Release Train consisting of a team of agile teams collaborating across Marketing Student Services and Digital Services to deliver value to students. The ART is aligned to an Operational Value Stream (OVS) focusing on reducing handoffs improving delivery speed and aligning software development with strategic priorities.
Youll work closely with a broad and engaged stakeholder group including ART teams and CRM team members Student Hubs Student Experience Centre (SEC) and the Student & Scholarly Services Division (SAaS).
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) fixed-term (6-months) position with a salary range of $125000 - $145000 per annum (pro rata) depending on skills and experience.

Youll bring:
- Experience in senior Product Owner roles ideally within Agile Release Trains
- Strong background in CRM technologies and cloud platforms is of benefit (e.g. AWS Oracle Salesforce)
- Proven ability to execute product roadmaps manage backlogs and facilitate delivery
- Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe POPM ICP-APO) are highly desirable
- Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10 people including vendor collaboration
- An active interest and engagement with emerging technology (e.g. AI)
