The Senior Digital Workspace Enablement Specialist sits within the Digital Workspace Enablement team in our Digital Platforms Tribe. Youll act as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor contributing to strategy standards and continuous improvement across end user computing and productivity platforms. Air New Zealand is on a journey to become the worlds leading digital airline and this role plays a critical part in how our people connect collaborate and deliver.
About the role:
- Lead and contribute to discovery consulting and delivery of digital workspace improvements that increase adoption and productivity.
- Be a SME contributor to standards and strategy for EUC and productivity platforms ensuring secure and fit for purpose solutions.
- Manage and influence vendors across workplace platforms licensing hardware and managed services.
- Provide technical leadership across complex initiatives such as OS migrations platform shifts and major upgrades.
- Provide technical authority mentoring junior specialists and uplifting chapter capability.
- Drive monitoring reporting and cost control to meet agreed service levels and outcomes.
What were looking for:
- Strong experience in service delivery or operational management within large multi-vendor Digital or IT environments.
- Deep knowledge of modern digital workplace platforms such as Microsoft 365 endpoint management and virtual desktop solutions.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships outsourcing agreements and budgets.
- Experience working with iterative delivery models and ITIL aligned service management practices.
- Confidence influencing decisions and engaging with senior leaders and executives.
- A tertiary qualification in an ICT discipline or equivalent experience.
