The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist is responsible for designing implementing and evaluating initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to drive change foster a culture of continuous improvement and align talent strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design implementation and monitoring of the performance management system to ensure fairness transparency and alignment with organizational goals
- Assist in developing and maintaining succession planning frameworks to identify assess and prepare high-potential talent for future leadership roles
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys analyze results and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement action plans that enhance engagement and retention
- Conduct training needs assessments design and deliver need-based training programs and evaluate their effectiveness to build organizational capability
- Partner with managers to implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) ensuring structured development plans are in place to address performance gaps
- Work closely with HR and business leaders to align OD and L&D initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Track and report key OD and L&D metrics providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 35 years of professional experience in Organizational Development Talent Management and Learning & Development.
- Strong knowledge of performance management frameworks and best practices
- Experience supporting succession planning models and talent pipeline development
- Ability to design conduct and analyze employee engagement surveys and translate results into actionable plans
- Proven experience in conducting training needs assessments and designing/delivering need-based training programs
- Hands-on exposure to implementing and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to align initiatives with business objectives
- Analytical skills to track measure and report OD and L&D effectiveness using data-driven insights
- Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to recommend and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and familiarity with ERP and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
