As aRisk and Governance Services - Senior Associateyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work independently to manage internal audit engagements and projects including risk assessment and engagement planning audit project planningfieldworkand reporting;
Define the scope of the engagement by maximizing the use of the tools and IT technologies available;
Coordinate and work closely with a network of subject matter specialists to ensure a seamless integration of specialized audit resources within the overall audit program;
Effectivelyprepare high value-added audit reports;
Manage the engagement economics and individual project budgets schedule and resource allocation ensuring that all budgetsmilestonesand other deadlines are met;
Participate in and contribute to the internal audit Learning and Development program;
Maintain awareness of advancements in internal audit and controls (best practicesnew technologies data analytics tools relevant regulations subject matter areas risk managementtechniquesand audit approaches).Assistin developing professional qualificationsofjunior staff.
Experience and skillsyoulluse to solve
Prior experience in any of the following areas is valued: internal auditing internal controls risk management SOX compliance ICFR or IT controls testing. Candidates do not need to have experience in all areas;expertisein one or more is welcome.
Experience in conducting internal audit risk assessments and planning for complex internal audit assignments.
Experience in writing audit reports supported by solid business writing skills and experience.
Effective use of tools and IT technologies in performing internalaudit.
Post-secondary education or relevant experience in professionalaccountingIT orotherrelated field.
Understanding ofSOX and NI 52-109 compliance requirements and best practices for a risk-based approach is considered an asset.
Ease and significant desire to learn to usenew technologies(analytics automation robotic collaboration tools google suite)

The salary range for this position is $65600 - $109300.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
