Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will play a key leadership role in the planning design and execution of complex electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for developing high-quality electrical designs overseeing power distribution and systems analysis and ensuring projects meet regulatory and industry standards. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams you will contribute to integrated project delivery while mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning design and delivery of electrical engineering systems for a wide range of projects
Develop detailed electrical designs drawings and technical specifications
Perform analysis of power distribution systems and related electrical infrastructure
Coordinate with architects mechanical engineers and construction teams to ensure seamless project integration
Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and regulatory requirements
Provide technical guidance mentorship and oversight to junior engineers and designers
Manage project timelines scope and deliverables from concept through construction
shipping exceptions label failures and cost or tracking delays
Improve and monitor integrations using APIs EDI middleware or file-based exchanges
Establish validation checks alerts and reconciliation routines to prevent data drift

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineering () designation or eligibility to obtain one
Minimum of 8 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and project management
Strong expertise in electrical design power distribution and power systems
Thorough understanding of electrical principles and their application across diverse project types
Proven ability to lead projects from initial design through completion
Excellent communication coordination and team collaboration skills

Experience in commercial industrial or institutional projects is considered an asset
