Job Summary
Document Accessibility Remediation Specialist / ADA & WCAG Compliance Analyst
Remote - Contract - Columbia SC
Required:
- 7-12 years of experience in document accessibility testing and remediation
- 3 years Microsoft Word WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (styles headings alt text reading order)
- 3 years PDF WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (tagging logical structure forms links)
- 3 years of experience with accessibility testing tools
- Ability to research laws analyze policies and procedures and interpret complex regulations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving solutions to bring SCJB into compliance
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization
- Proficiency with compliance management software and accessibility tools
- Manage sensitive information and situations
- Ability to train staff on creating compliant documents
- Microsoft Word (styles headings alt text reading order)
- PDF (tagging logical structure forms links)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with court forms or orders
- UX compliance
- CPACC
- IAAP ADS certification
- Appropriate education and work experience accepted
