Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable IT Specialist to join our team at Del Toro Insurance. As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the technology systems that drive our insurance operations. Your main focus will be on ensuring the reliability security and performance of our IT infrastructure applications and end-user systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills a customer-centric mindset and a good grasp of the technology and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for hardware software and network systems
Maintain and troubleshoot insurance applications policy administration systems claims platforms and related tools
Manage user access permissions and security controls
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Assist with system updates upgrades and deployments
Support cybersecurity best practices data protection and compliance requirements
Document IT processes procedures and system configurations
Collaborate with vendors developers and internal teams on technical projects
Assist with disaster recovery backups and business continuity planning

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments
Experience with networks VPNs and remote access tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
