Salary:
HK$26908 HK$32140 (HGPS point 9 - 12) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake day-to-day building maintenance project management service and provide technical support to Hospitals under supervision.
Major duties include:
1.
Assist in supervising a group of technical staff (including Artisans and Operation Assistant I & II) and monitoring performance of contractors and service providers for day-to-day building maintenance and provide technical support in minor improvement projects.
2.
Monitor the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
3.
Monitor the standard of materials and workmanship against the contract requirements and other recognized standards.
4.
Coordinate and monitor additions alterations and improvement projects capital projects and assist in cash flow management of the hospital.
5.
Provide technical and engineering support on the planning coordination and management of building maintenance and new / improvement projects.
6.
Supervise and monitor the performance of project consultants and contractors and Occupational Safety & Health on site.
7.
Provide administrative support and prepare reports.
8.
As on-call officer to handle emergencies / repair services designated by the supervisors.
9.
Maybe required to perform shift duty and on duty during typhoon / black rainstorm and other emergencies.
10.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1.
(a) A Certificate in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 years of relevant working experience as skilled worker in the field of Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; OR
(c) Completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2.
A knowledge of English and Chinese equivalent to Form 3 (before 2012) / Secondary 3 standard.
3.
Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.
Possess certificates in plumbing or qualification of registered electrical worker (Grade A/B).
2.
Possession of supervisory experience.
3.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (e.g. MS Word MS Excel and other MS Office applications).
4.
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
5.
Have good knowledge in site safety O&M of building and building services facilities of hospital / healthcare building.
6.
Experience in facilities management or capital projects.
