Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Engineering Manager to our InPost Pay Mobile Payment Team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-platform team of approximately 8 engineers working with mobile and backend technologies (Java Spring native iOS and Android) providing mentoring guidance and hands-on support.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in application system design architecture and development processes leveraging the latest technologies and tools to enhance product functionality and customer experience.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define product requirements develop project plans and ensure the timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate not only within your area but across the wider InPost Technology Group to improve the overall architecture and support global technology initiatives such as cloud transformation platforming work and leveraging AI.
- Manage the hiring onboarding and development of team members ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in software development with strong familiarity in developing high-traffic backend systems.
- Experience in Java SQL NoSQL cloud computing and system design.
- 2 years of experience leading and managing a high-performing Agile development team with a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments.
Nice to have:
- Experience in mobile app development (Android or iOS).
- Experience in fintech/payment systems.
