Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to supervise and drive excellence in production planning and control to ensure timely production fulfillment to meet customer demands.
Logistics Planning: Define production plan for the manufacturing team to fulfil customer demands in a timely manner review and improve levelling plan deviation management for production and delivery fulfilment Contribute for Inventory control in the supply chain
Relationship Management: Liaison as a single point of contact for other IPN LKAMs and STP for escalations on deliveries and lead plant activities pertaining to role.
Compliance Management: Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with internal guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) central directives and external laws namely foreign trade customs and taxation laws.
Digitization: Plan and implement end-to-end digital and connected value chain to optimize material and information flow with structured methodology and analysis to ensure enhancement of effectiveness digitization.
People Management: Determine the logistics competency requirements for the basis current and future trends and direct employee capability development accordingly
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Masters in business administration (Supply chain)
- 10 - 15 years of work experience in Supply Chain
Knowledge:
- Competent knowledge in production planning process and lean concepts.
- Proficient knowledge of Inventory management
- Proficient in SAP for material management and production planning modules
Functional Skills:
- Proficiently in leveling process and tools
- Competent knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts
- Competent in communication skills
Additional Information :
The purpose of this position is to provide a production plan to manufacturing and procurement team to ensure timely production fulfillment.
