We are hiring an experienced Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Littleton this role you will manage procurement of components materials and services for complex electromechanical systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with medical device or high-complexity manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Source quote negotiate and issue purchase orders for custom parts PCBs cable and wire harnesses subassemblies and specialized manufacturing services
- Ensure materials meet FDA and ISO 13485 quality and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
- Identify evaluate and qualify new suppliers
- Support Engineering and Production with prototypes part obsolescence and ECOs
- Perform cost analysis support make/buy decisions and drive cost reduction initiatives
- Expedite critical materials to maintain production schedules
- Maintain purchasing records and support audits
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of procurement or supply chain experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Salesforce Oracle SAP NetSuite)
- Experience in low-volume high-complexity manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with focus on quality and compliance
