Pay: |
HK$60488 to HK$87341 (HGPS Point 25 to 33) per month including Monthly Allowance |
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |

Key Responsibilities: |
1. | Assist supervisor in taking charge of a section of the Division of Haematology. |
2. | Plan and carry out quality assurance exercises. |
3. | Participate in test method and instrument evaluation. |
4. | Training of laboratory staff. |
5. | Perform 24 hours shift duties for Core Haematology and Blood Bank as required. |

Entry Requirements: |
1. | Be a registered Part I (full registration) Medical Laboratory Technologist and have a valid Practicing Certificate under the Allied Health Professions Ordinance. |
2. | At least 5 years experience in medical laboratory services. |
|
Preferred Attributes: |
1. | MSc in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent; (Note: The list of recognized Master programmes / professional qualifications is attached: (see Remarks 2) |
2. | Contribution to professional development including research teaching and training. |
3. | Competent in Core Haematology and Blood Bank Operation |
4. | Experience in flow cytometry special coagulation cytogenetics and genomics |
5. | Experience in accreditation |
6. | Experience in leading / coordinating instrument / technology evaluation |
7. | Communication and interpersonal skills. |
8. | Empathy. |
9. | Commitment to patient care. |
9. | Leadership. |
