Pay

HK$63338 to HK$88333 (HGPS Pt 26 33A) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Perform managerial and administrative functions of quality and safety management for hospital and cluster.

2.

Assist with the promotion of organizational quality and safety culture practices and service.

3.

Perform incident management conduct root cause analysis and coordinate risk reduction programs.

4.

Lead and coordinate quality improvement projects in hospital and cluster.

5.

Prepare and compile audit and management reports to hospital and cluster management.

6.

Lead and supervise day-to-day managerial and administration functions of Q&S Department.

7.

Provide training resources to hospital and cluster on quality & safety related subjects.

8.

Perform any other related duties / projects as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements

1.

Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate (Part I) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.

2.

Qualification in advanced nursing specialty *.

3.

A degree in Nursing or equivalent.

4.

5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare of which at least 3 years is in the related specialty.

*

Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing^# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty.

^# Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted

A Master degree in nursing or related discipline.

Contribution to professional development including research/evidence-based practice teaching and training.

Experience in quality improvement and risk management activities.

Planning organizing & evaluation skills.

6.

Analytical & logical thinking.

7.

Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills Problem-solving ability.

8.

Able to work independently and under pressure in an efficient and accurate manner.

9.

Excellent command in both written and oral English and Chinese.

10.

Basic knowledge in PC skills e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint.

For the numbers of incidents were currently increasing in hospitals please prepare an action plan on mitigation of the incidents to enhance the patient safety and maintain the standard of quality care
