About the Role
The Infrastructure Support Consultant will be responsible for delivering advanced L2 and L3 technical support across infrastructure components including Azure administration networking and Windows server (Wintel) environments. The role involves ensuring stability performance and security of enterprise systems while acting as an escalation point for L1/L2 support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3-level support for complex infrastructure incidents and service requests.
Manage and administer Azure environments including virtual machines networking and resource groups.
Oversee Wintel server administration patch management and system performance optimization.
Support network configuration troubleshooting and connectivity issues across multiple sites.
Collaborate with L1 and L2 teams to resolve escalated issues efficiently and share technical expertise.
Monitor infrastructure performance recommend improvements and participate in architecture discussions.
Maintain documentation of technical processes configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure management and administration.
Proficiency in Windows Server administration including Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy.
Working knowledge of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN firewalls routing switching).
Proven experience handling L2 and L3 escalations in enterprise or managed service environments.
Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate across support tiers and with customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Exposure to automation tools (PowerShell Azure Automation etc.) is an advantage.
