Account Manager
The impact you will make:
The Account Manager at The Intern Group (TIG) is responsible for the account management of our global company partners & the coordination of internship placements for thousands of our participants each year. This role is central to the continued growth of TIG as it is directly responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our international company partners who facilitate top internship experiences for our students. The role is intern facing too and critical in providing mentorship and support to our participants around the world helping them realize their potential through our international and remote internship program.
Location:
Hong Kong (remote) with occasional in person account management
Youre excited about working here because youll:
- Build and maintain relationships with partner companies across our global destinations on an ongoing basis.
- Expand our network of partner companies through account management initiatives that contribute to the growth of our global internship role bank.
- Manage and coordinate the placement process between our company partners and internship candidates to provide the best possible match.
- Be accountable for the onboarding of new company partners conducting ongoing quality assurance and support.
- Be accountable for mentoring and supporting our candidates throughout the placement matching process.
- Conduct ad hoc complaint management with both partner companies and placed interns before and during the period of their internship.
- Have the opportunity to support global team through project management
- Execute on placement & account management targets and ensure that YoY global growth targets are met.
- Have opportunities for exposure to global projects and initiatives designed to support the continued strategic growth of our global business.
- Represent our university partnerships team on-site when required including engaging with university representatives facilitating meetings and coordinating/hosting site visits.
Were excited about you working here because you have:
- Previous B2B sales or partnership development/account management experience
- Experience with CRM and automation
- Experience in prospecting and taking clients through a sales cycle
- Previous recruitment experience
- Near-native fluency in English (bonus points for Japanese Cantonese Thai and Spanish speaking/writing skills!)
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work well under strict timelines
- Excellent organizational skills - ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication skills strong networking and interpersonal skills.
And you are:
- Proactive and target driven exhibiting a high level of initiative and motivation to hit and exceed targets
- People-focused with a passion for creating a stellar experience for our interns & host organizations
- A Strategic thinker and proactive attitude to problem-solving
- Passionate for travel and cultural exchanges.
Logistical Requirements:
- Home office space as we are a remote-first company
- A personal computer to work from
- Ability to conduct occasional in-person account management
