Senior Systems Engineer

Team Red Dog is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Global Technology clients dynamic engineering organization supporting enterprise-grade Windows and Android-based Microsoft Teams devices. This hybrid role based in Redmond Washington is perfect for a systems engineering expert passionate about collaboration technology automation and hands-on device testing in a state-of-the-art hardware lab. Youll help design optimize and maintain global Teams Room environments and contribute to initiatives driving modern device management and Zero Trust security adoption.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

1. Strong understanding of Windows OS environments (5 years) for endpoint and systems configuration.
2. Extensive experience with Endpoint Management (Intune) for deployment provisioning and lifecycle management (5 years).
3. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration optimization.
4. Excellent documentation skills to support system configuration troubleshooting and process consistency.

How you will make an impact:
Design implement and maintain Windows-based and Android-based Teams device solutions and collaboration platforms.
Configure and manage Microsoft Teams Rooms Teams Panels Teams Phones and Surface Hub environments.
Deploy and oversee Microsoft Intune Autopilot and Azure services for modern device management.
Create PowerShell automations to streamline system configuration monitoring and maintenance.
Partner with engineering teams to integrate new Microsoft technologies and enhance device performance.
Lead initiatives for Teams Device lifecycle management Zero Trust migrations and security hardening.
Maintain accurate system documentation and troubleshooting guides.
Support Tier 3 service escalations and resolve complex endpoint issues involving Windows Android OS and networking.
Monitor and optimize system performance ensuring compliance with Microsoft security standards.

The expertise you bring:
5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator focused on Windows and Microsoft technologies.
Strong knowledge of Teams Rooms Surface Hub and Android-based Teams devices.
Experience with Intune Autopilot Azure Active Directory and identity management.
Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture and endpoint security principles.
Proven ability to automate tasks through PowerShell and Azure automation frameworks.
Exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills.
Understanding of CAB (Change Advisory Board) intake processes and system governance.
Capability to handle hardware up to 10 lbs and perform onsite lab testing 23 days per week.
