Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant DEETLData architect
Responsibilities
Lead the entire data engineering development team overseeing solution design delivery and quality assurance across multiple modules and workstreams.
Act as the technical architect defining scalable and secure data architectures using Azure and Microsoft technologies and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers scrum masters and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
Own the end-to-end implementation of cloud-native data pipelines using Azure Data Factory Databricks and Informatica ensuring performance reliability and maintainability.
Guide the development and governance of enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI and SSRS ensuring consistency usability and alignment with business KPIs.
Drive DevOps practices across the team including CI/CD pipeline setup version control automated testing and deployment using Git Azure Logic Apps.
Ensure data governance security and compliance across all data engineering and BI solutions including audit readiness and policy enforcement.
Mentor and coach junior senior and lead consultants fostering a culture of technical excellence collaboration and continuous improvement.
Conduct architecture reviews performance assessments and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders and technical teams.
Proactively identify opportunities for innovation cost optimization and process improvement across the data ecosystem.
Represent the data engineering team in leadership forums providing updates on progress risks and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

ETL Architecture & Strategy: Mastery in designing enterprise-grade ETL frameworks using SSIS and Azure Data Factory with a focus on modularity scalability and performance optimization across distributed systems.
Data Warehousing & Modeling: Extensive experience in architecting and managing relational databases (SQL Server MySQL) and implementing dimensional models star/snowflake schemas and data marts.
Reporting & BI Oversight: Deep expertise in Power BI dashboards SSRS reports SSAS models and Tableau visualizations including dashboard governance semantic modeling DAX optimization and enterprise report lifecycle management.
Cloud Data Engineering: Advanced proficiency in Azure Data Factory Databricks and Azure Synapse with hands-on experience in building cloud-native data pipelines and real-time processing frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Cloud Platforms: Strong command of Azure ecosystem including compute storage networking and security services relevant to data engineering.
Workflow Orchestration: Proven experience in orchestrating complex workflows using SSIS SSDT Azure Automation and Azure Data Factory with robust error handling and monitoring strategies.
Data Lake & Storage: Expertise in managing structured semi-structured and unstructured data using Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage including lifecycle policies and access control.
Programming & Scripting: Advanced skills in Python and SQL for automation data transformation and integration across diverse systems.

DevOps & CI/CD

Version Control & Automation: Proficient in Git Azure Logic Apps and Azure DevOps for managing code repositories automating deployments and integrating workflows.
