The Job
We are now looking for a Retail Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our retail operations. This is a key role within our Brand Home team where you will shape the future of our retail experience ensure operational excellence and create meaningful connections between guests and the Jameson family of brands.

Whats Involved
Retail Operations
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Jameson Distillery Bow St. shop ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee stock control including ordering receiving replenishment management.
- Maintain accurate cashiering reconciliation and financial reporting processes.
- Implement and uphold all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring compliance is consistently met.
- Manage staffing levels and create effective rosters to support footfall patterns and business needs.
- Ensure full compliance with safety and security procedures.
Customer Experience
- Deliver a world-class retail experience that reflects the Jameson brand and drives guest advocacy.
- Lead the team in engaging guests offering product recommendations sharing brand stories and enhancing purchase intent.
- Ensure customer queries and issues are resolved quickly professionally and with a guest-first mindset.
- Collaborate with Visitor Experience teams to deliver seamless end-to-end visitor journeys.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Lead coach and support the shop team to deliver exceptional service and operational performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings 1:1s and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive collaborative and inclusive culture where continuous learning is encouraged.
- Recruit onboard and train team members ensuring strong product knowledge and retail capability.
Systems & Reporting
- Use Microsoft Office SAP and POS systems to streamline daily operations.
- Ensure all team members are trained and competent in required software and systems.
Commercial Growth
- Monitor shop performance and contribute to achieving sales profit and labour targets.
- Partner with Marketing and Brand Home management to deliver retail promotions seasonal campaigns and new product launches.
- Provide insights and feedback on retail trends guest behaviours and promotional performance.
What Were Looking For
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Retail Manager including leadership coaching and team development in a similar sized retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel).
- Experience managing budgets cost control sales reporting KPI tracking and operational problem-solving.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in Retail Management Hospitality Business or similar.
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems.
- Visual merchandising and store presentation skills.
- Inventory management POS usage and operational retail software experience.
