Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Banner Project Manager Consultant to oversee and manage cybersecurity and IT modernization projects for the Department of Public Health. This role involves comprehensive project documentation lifecycle management and effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management and a solid understanding of cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare essential project documentation including needs analyses and feasibility studies.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle focusing on cybersecurity and IT modernization.
- Coordinate projects using established methodologies ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed work plans managing scope budget and schedule.
- Identify potential risks and develop quality management plans in compliance with relevant standards.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of project management experience.
- 3-5 years of cybersecurity knowledge including familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with South Carolina agencies in a project manager role for information security projects.
- Knowledge of compliance related to CDC HIPAA and CJIS.
- PMP certification is a plus.
