Job Description:
The Sr Director of Digital Advertising will be responsible for leading and evolving the Digital Advertising department overseeing daily operations and setting the strategic direction for future growth and product innovation. This role requires a visionary leader who can elevate the team to new levels of performance and profitability through creative thinking bold initiatives and a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape.
This individual will serve as a thought leader bringing fresh ideas to scale operations optimize performance and drive revenue growth. They will inspire and mentor the Digital Advertising management teams offering deep expertise and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The Sr Director will also play a key role in OEM meetings representing the company as a subject matter expert and strategic partner helping shape collaborative initiatives and product development opportunities.
This is a full-time remote position with quarterly travel required for industry conferences and OEM quarterly business reviews.
Essential Functions:- Set departmental strategy and guide tactical execution to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and implement opportunities for growth efficiency and profitability across digital advertising initiatives.
- Oversee customer relationship management to increase user engagement across key digital platforms.
- Lead and mentor Directors and Managers establishing and maintaining OKRs KPIs metrics and quality controls for all initial and recurring tasks.
- Instill a high-performance culture that promotes problem-solving engagement proactivity collaboration and accuracy.
- Manage team workflows and lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct technical audits on potential client websites and assess customer experience to inform strategy and recommendations.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through strategic oversight and hands-on support.
- Develop and execute strategies for client growth and retention ensuring long-term success and profitability.
- Address and resolve client challenges including de-escalating issues and ensuring positive outcomes.
- Lead monthly audits of team performance and review weekly revenue forecast reports to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry conferences and OEM meetings contributing thought leadership and strategic insights.
- Manage cross-functional communications across DealerOn departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven record of coaching and mentoring high-performing teams
Required Skills/Experience:- Automotive Experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience
- 12 years experience in digital ad operations and programmatic advertising
- 8 years experience in management role
- Google Ads and Google Analytics Certifications
- Experience managing processes for a large team of Digital Marketing Consultants.
- Ability to confidently communicate with automotive dealers.
- Proficient in Excel Microsoft Word Screaming Frog and Photoshop
- Proficient in Google Analytics and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Working HTML and CSS knowledge
- Experience with multiple ad servers

The targeted salary range for this position is $106400 - $161400.The posted salary range for this position may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law such as experience and training; internal pay equity; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
