Position: Sr. Formulation Technician
Location: Sunnyvale CA 94085
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Summary:
- Work in a team-based manufacturing laboratory responsible for synthesizing testing and qualifying ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.
- The role supports high-quality production through accurate testing documentation data analysis and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Perform testing and qualification of resin products using specialized instruments to meet customer demand

Record analyze and report test results accurately while maintaining proper documentation
-
Complete complex production work orders according to established procedures
-
Analyze data derive conclusions and prepare technical reports
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and quality goals
-
Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and corporate quality policies
-
Follow EH&S safety requirements and participate in safety improvement initiatives
-
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose countermeasures
-
Maintain a clean organized and compliant laboratory environment
Required Skills
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)

Strong mathematical problem-solving and organizational skills
-
Ability to read and follow written SOPs and verbal instructions

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Strong sense of ownership punctuality and ability to meet deadlines
-
Understanding of production schedules and task prioritization
-
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing walking sitting and manual handling tasks
Desired Skills
-
Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biotechnology or a related field

Hands-on experience in a chemistry laboratory

Knowledge of chromatography software
-
Familiarity with hand tools (e.g. wrenches torque drivers tweezers)
-
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and PPI Continuous Improvement tools
-
Willingness to continuously learn and develop new technical skills
